The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Hon. Onoriode Oborevwori, has paid glowing tribute to the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, describing him as a visionary and selfless leader as he marks his 61st birthday.
In a goodwill message commemorating the milestone, Hon. Oborevwori extolled Onyeme’s exemplary leadership style, noting that his steady rise in public service is a testament to his administrative competence and unwavering commitment to the growth of Delta State.
He recalled the Deputy Governor’s impactful tenure as Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue between 2015 and 2022, a period he said was marked by strategic reforms and increased efficiency in revenue generation. According to him, Onyeme has seamlessly transitioned into his current role since 2023, where he continues to play a pivotal role in driving the development blueprint of the administration of Sheriff Oborevwori under the MORE Agenda.
The Sports Commission boss further applauded the Deputy Governor’s immense contributions to sports development in the state, highlighting his unwavering support for athletes and consistent encouragement towards excellence on both national and international stages.
