Delta FA Celebrates Silva Ofugara on Birthday, Commends Commitment to Grassroots Football Development

The Delta State Football Association has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Chairman of the Board of the Ofugara Peace and Unity Football Tournament, Silva Ofugara, describing him as a distinguished philanthropist and a passionate supporter of football development in Delta State.
In a statement issued on behalf of the association, the Chairman of the Delta FA, Chief Godwin Adode, commended Mr. Ofugara for his consistent commitment to youth empowerment, community development and the advancement of grassroots football through his numerous humanitarian and sporting initiatives.
Adode particularly praised Ofugara’s sponsorship of the Ofugara All-Stars Peace and Unity Football Tournament, noting that the competition has continued to promote peace, unity, friendship and talent discovery among youths across communities.
According to the Delta FA Chairman, the association remains proud to be associated with a personality whose contributions to football and humanity have continued to make meaningful impact in the lives of many Deltans.
“Mr. Silva Ofugara has demonstrated uncommon generosity and dedication towards the growth of football and the empowerment of young people in Delta State. Through the Ofugara Peace and Unity Football Tournament and several other football-related programmes, he has continued to create opportunities for youths and foster unity within our communities.
“On behalf of the Delta State Football Association, we celebrate an accomplished leader, a committed sports enthusiast and a man of the people. We pray that God blesses his new age with greater wisdom, sound health, peace, happiness and more accomplishments,” Adode stated.
