The Chairman and Board members of the Delta State Football Association, led by Chairman Godwin Adode, have extended warm birthday felicitations to the Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Honourable Onoriode Oborevwori, describing him as a visionary sports administrator whose leadership has continued to reposition sports development across Delta State.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the football governing body in the state, Adode praised Hon. Oborevwori for his remarkable achievements, administrative competence, and unwavering commitment to the growth of sports since assuming office as Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission.
The Delta FA Chairman noted that under Oborevwori’s leadership, sports in the state have witnessed renewed direction, improved organization, and greater support for athletes, coaches, administrators, and sporting associations.
According to Adode, the celebrant has demonstrated an inclusive and progressive leadership style that has inspired confidence among stakeholders within the sporting community, while also strengthening Delta State’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading sporting hubs.
He further commended the Sports Commission Chairman for fostering unity, discipline, and professionalism in sports administration, adding that his open-door policy and passion for excellence have continued to yield positive results across various sporting platforms.
“Honourable Onoriode Oborevwori has shown exceptional capacity in sports leadership. Since taking over the affairs of the Delta State Sports Commission, he has brought innovation, stability, and purposeful administration that continue to impact positively on sports development in the state,” Adode stated.
The Delta FA boss also acknowledged the cordial working relationship between the Football Association and the Sports Commission, noting that the synergy has contributed immensely to the progress of football development and grassroots sporting initiatives across the state.
On behalf of the board and entire football family in Delta State, Adode prayed for greater wisdom, sound health, and continued success for Hon. Oborevwori as he celebrates another year.
