The Port Facility Security Officers Forum of Nigeria (PFSOFN), Niger Delta Maritime Sector (NDMSA), has elected a new Executive Committee to steer the affairs of the Forum for the 2026 administrative year.

The election was held during the Forum’s meeting hosted by Julius Berger Services Nigeria Limited at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Warri Port, Delta State.

Chief Festus George emerged as Chairman, while Mr. Bryan Robert was elected Vice Chairman. Other elected officers are Mr. Moses Ayotope Okondo, Secretary; Mr. Brilliant Yerinbide, Assistant Secretary; Ms. Ifeoma Okonkwo, Financial Secretary; Mrs. Owazi Ann, Treasurer; Mr. Tony Pemu, Public Relations Officer; Mr. Idiong Friday, Assistant Public Relations Officer; Dr. Godwin Ibiang, Provost; Mr. Kelvin Igeabor, Assistant Provost; and Mr. Bobby Galani, Auditor.

In his acceptance speech, Chief George thanked members for the confidence reposed in the new leadership and pledged to justify the mandate through dedicated service.

He said the new executive would prioritise collaboration, professionalism, capacity building, and adherence to global best practices to enhance port facility and maritime security across the Niger Delta Maritime Sector.

The chairman also reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to supporting the effective implementation of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code while promoting a safer and more secure maritime environment in Nigeria.
