“Peace, Compassion, Justice, Selflessness”: Chukwunwike Greets Muslims at Eid

The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in the area and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message conveyed through his spokesman, Oyem Jonathan, the Chairman commended Muslim faithful for their discipline, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion throughout the fasting period.
Chukwunwike urged adherents to continue to uphold the noble teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which emphasise peace, compassion, justice, and selflessness in their daily lives.
“Eid Mubarak to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Aniocha South. As we celebrate the culmination of Ramadan—a period of reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal—I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community,” he stated.
He described Eid-el-Fitr as not just a celebration but a reminder of enduring values such as faith, perseverance, charity, and unity, calling on Muslims to sustain these virtues while promoting tolerance and mutual respect across religious lines.
The council boss also commended the Muslim community for their contributions to social harmony and cultural diversity in Aniocha South, noting that their commitment to peaceful coexistence remains vital to the area’s growth and stability.
He further applauded Muslim leaders for their support in efforts to curb insecurity and strengthen inter-religious harmony within the local government.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, Chukwunwike assured residents of continued efforts toward building a peaceful, secure, and prosperous society for all.
He wished Muslim faithful a joyful Eid celebration, praying for Allah’s continued guidance, good health, and abundant blessings, while urging all residents to remain united in the pursuit of progress.
