The Chairman of the Ofugara Give Back Initiative and Ofugara Peace and Unity Cup, Mr. Silva Ofugara, has congratulated the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, High Chief Kestin Pondi, FNSE, and the Delta State Commissioner for Power and Energy, Engr. Michael Anoka, FNSE, on the successful completion of their Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D., programmes at the University of Benin, UNIBEN.
Ofugara described the academic accomplishment of the two distinguished Deltans as a remarkable milestone that reflects discipline, intellectual curiosity, perseverance and an unwavering commitment to personal and professional development.
In a statement issued to congratulate the duo, Ofugara said their attainment of doctoral degrees was particularly commendable because it came against the backdrop of their demanding professional responsibilities and leadership commitments.
He noted that successfully combining the rigorous demands of doctoral research with the enormous responsibilities attached to their respective offices demonstrated exceptional determination, time management and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education.
According to him, the achievement of Pondi and Anoka goes beyond the acquisition of academic titles, as it represents a powerful message to younger generations that continuous learning, self-improvement and the pursuit of excellence should remain integral parts of a successful life and career.

He said their successful completion of the Ph.D. programmes in Public Administration further strengthens their capacity to contribute meaningfully to policy formulation, leadership, governance and institutional development.
The Ofugara Give Back Initiative Chairman described High Chief Kestin Pondi as a distinguished business leader whose contributions to the security and economic development of the Niger Delta have continued to attract recognition, while he acknowledged Engr. Michael Anoka as a dedicated public servant whose professional experience and current responsibilities in the Delta State Executive Council place him in a strategic position to contribute to the development of the state.
He said the academic milestone achieved by both men should serve as an encouragement to professionals, public servants and young people across Delta State and beyond to embrace education as a lifelong journey rather than an achievement that ends with the attainment of a first degree.
