The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has called on healthcare workers and critical stakeholders to approach the ongoing Measles–Rubella vaccination campaign with renewed commitment to protect children from preventable diseases.
He made the appeal at the Council Hall in Ogwashi-Uku during the official flag-off of the sensitization and immunization exercise targeting children between the ages of 0 and 14 years.
Addressing participants at the ceremony, Pastor Chukwunwike stressed the importance of proactive healthcare measures in preventing deadly illnesses such as measles and other vaccine preventable diseases.
He noted that timely immunization remains one of the most effective strategies for safeguarding communities and reducing avoidable health complications.
